Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions about WD'S TREES and the services we offer, you can take a look at our FAQS to address any general concerns you may have.

Why should I choose WD'S TREES over other tree surgeons?

We understand that you have a lot of choice when it comes to tree surgeons and you may be wondering what sets WD’S TREES apart from the competition. At this company, our teams of qualified arborists have spent years gathering knowledge and experience to ensure they are more than competent at what they do. We take pride in the fact that we care about your trees as much as you do, which is why our quality can be assured every time. Maintaining your trees and hedges to better preserve the environment and keep our customers satisfied is our main priority and we do it all at a competitive and affordable price.

How much will these services cost?

Tree work can be quite costly which is why we base our free and non obligatory quotations on a set list to determine a price that we can guarantee is competitive within the industry. We quote our work based on the time it will take to complete, what service we are offering and if anything else needs to be priced into the quote such as equipment or materials like tree saplings. At WD’S TREES we aim to offer a consistent and satisfactory level of work and a large part of that can be attributed to the price, which is why we always strive to be not only competitive but fair.

How do I know which service or services I need?

Understanding how to best manage your trees can be difficult, especially when you need to balance their aesthetic, health and longevity. Choosing the right service to suit your specific situation is exactly why we offer free consultations and advice when we provide a quote. Our years of industry experience and knowledge allows us to advise you on how to best care for your trees regardless of their health, location or species.

Are there any tree services that can provide me with more light in my garden?

If you have trees or hedges that are restricting the light in your garden we offer different services that can help change that. Hedges can be trimmed and reduced in height or width if they are impeding your light or view but when it comes to trees, the work will need to be more specific and a wider range of services can be offered depending on the trees species, size and location. We offer crown thins and lifts, reductions, dead wood removals, pollards and even complete tree removals which can all provide your property with more light in different ways. No matter the situation, WD'S TREES can provide you with the tree work you require.

How will you clean up my garden after you have finished your work?

Tree surgery can be a messy process due to the nature of the work. Small debris such as leaves and sawdust are a by-product of the services we carry out and we know that our customers care about their gardens which is why we do too. Any materials or debris we produce from timber to sawdust will be removed and before we leave we use our industrial leaf blowers to ensure worksites are clean and tidy.

Why would I need a tree surgeon?

Those who have never hired a tree surgeon before may not understand why they would need to when they can seemingly do the work themselves or hire a gardener. Relying on gardeners and DIY are fine for small gardening jobs but quality tree work and hedge management requires experience, skill and knowledge as it can be dangerous and difficult to do correctly. Improper tree management can kill trees and make them unsafe as they could start to lose branches or even uproot. To ensure your trees are managed and maintained properly you should hire a professional tree surgeon with the necessary equipment and experience to ensure the longevity of your trees and more importantly, your safety. Even the simple act of felling a small tree can be dangerous if you aren't trained, which is why you should contact WD’S TREES.
